About me
I am Lajos Barna, a biotechnology student at the University of Debrecen. My primary academic interests are biomedicine, molecular biology and bioinorganic chemistry, particularly problems where chemical interactions help explain biological function or disease.
My long-term goal is to continue toward research-intensive graduate study and contribute to work with meaningful biomedical relevance. Alongside laboratory science, I am developing skills in scientific data analysis, programming and reproducible research.
Beyond the laboratory
My wider interests include:
- science communication and education;
- programming and data analysis;
- music, guitar and composition;
- language learning;
- the philosophy of science and personal development.
These are not separate from my scientific identity: they shape how I approach practice, structure, creativity and difficult problems.
